PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK ME WHAT I FIND TO BE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN RUNNING A BUSINESS
My whole life, all I wanted was to be like everybody else. Having a labeled disability, I was always aware that I was different, and how I had to work quite a bit harder just to keep up with the rest of the big world if I wanted to be in it.

I HAVE TO BE HONEST, THIS PANDEMIC TIME IS AN AHHHH MOMENT IN LIFE FOR ME.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE IN A WHEELCHAIR?
I will tell you what I do. First you should know that when I was in Highschool my friends from when I was younger had no interest in a friendship with me. In fact they had no interest in me at all.

I think back a lot and realize that all my years of struggling and hardships of trying to be accepted is exactly what made me be brave and willing to take risks in my life. I really did not have many choices unless I wanted to continue feeling sad

Well for those who don’t know me, I was born with a cleft palate, that cause speaking issues and eating issues. I had to have a pretty big surgery when I was four. All the muscles in the roof of my mouth were not connected

MY MOM CALLED “HELL ON WHEELS”I JUST GOT HOME FROM
I just got home from the annual conference for The Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress. I was asked to be there Keynote Speaker today October 19, 2019. My Mom and I drove down to Waters Edge Resort in Westbrook Ct on the 18th.

THE EMAILS AND MESSAGES BREAK MY HEART
I stay up late at night, often reading messages and emails to me and my Mom Rosemary. We get so many emails and notes about other young adults and children struggling in their schools and social circles to be accepted.
